The Shaper
The Shaper is a synthesiser controller. It has no on-board sound generating capability. The Shaper concept has the potential to create new markets for stringed-instrument synth controllers, compatible MIDI synthesisers / sound-generator racks and hybrid products integrating the synth + stringed controller in a single package.
The Shaper will not launch until early 2027. At the time of writing, the Shaper has no dealer network. It is likely to stay that way for the foreseeable future.
As more product becomes available for demonstration, Rush Systems Ltd will be interested in co-operating with dealers who are willing to host demos in their retail outlets for customers who are on their mailing lists.
Apart from the time involved in staging the demo, there will be no risk to the dealer. Dealers will not be obliged to stock product, and a mutually agreeable commission on sales resulting from these in-store demos is negotiable.
Other benefits for the dealer are as follows:
A chance to weigh up customer reaction to the launch of the Shaper.
An opportunity to promote and cross-sell the dealer’s regular products and services during the event.

In the short term, in-store demos are likely to be confined to an area within a reasonable travelling distance of Oxford, UK.
